Default Spring And Port Wine?

I'm after a copy of this James Mason/Susan George rarity - the best film ever made on the subject of a cold herring. Had it on VHS years ago but got chewed up.

If anybody has a copy, please let me know - don't have much to trade (as still relatively new to this forum) but happy to work out some deal.

A very good production of the play has finished at The Bolton Octogon.

Check the avatar!

And what's all this about me having me leg off?

I don't know why it has never been issued on DVD.

I'm sure it was mooted for DVD release several years ago.

Default Thanks!

Thanks to everybody who got in touch - I have now sourced copy but I agree with all the above comments that it's a bit of a mystery why it's never been issued on DVD.

I remember it as being slightly old-fashioned for its day (a 1970 kitchen sink drama but it plays like something from ten years earlier). It also foxed me how James Mason's gene pool could spawn Susan George and Hannah Gordon but at the same time Rodney Bewes? That's pushing casting credibility to the limit, surely.

Nevertheless, a fine film, can't wait to see it again and thanks again to everybody who got in touch.
