I didn't see the latest showing but presume it was the usual Channel 4 version with the two alternative endings. Was this a gimmick, or did the film company do this as a genuine reason to ascertain the audiences' preferred ending?
If the film was shown commercially with just one ending, which which version did they use. Jeffery Hunter dead...or alive? Does anyone know any other Brit films shown with two endings? It was a great little Boy's Own adventure, but I always thought, in reality, Brown would not have stood any chance when the big ship's guns were turned on him. |
