If you mean the classic 1953 (not 1955) film THE KIDNAPPERS, starring Jon Whiteley and Vincent Winter, it's not available in the UK on either video or DVD, but it was run on Channel 4 about five weeks ago on February 5th, so there must be plenty of recorded off TV copies around. And oh, yes, the stupid continuity announcer DID talk over the ending music as usual and ruin it, just as they did with MOONFLEET on BBC2 yesterday (March 8th). I suppose they do it on purpose so that they will ruin your recordings.

They can talk as much as they like, for me, as long as they play the entire credits down to who did the catering, stunts, tutored the kids, wrangled the animals, and whether the electricians, riggers were family members, etc. Otherwise it ruins the whole film for me. I wonder which film has had the longest or more informative credits? Amadeus was certainly a good one for that.

The credit that always sticks in my mind is from "DEMOLITION MAN" 1993. At the start of the film Stillone is seen frozen and naked, full frontal, in time. Believe me in the titles at the end of the picture "PUBIC HAIR STYLIST".

The one I liked was for Silence of the Lambs where those moths were obviously so difficult to control they even needed an Assistant Moth Wrangler!

I would like to buy the movie "The Little Kidnappers" made in 1953, in DVD format, or VHS if not on DVD. I'm in the U.S. Can anyone help? I need a good clean recording. I purchased one from someone in Wales, but it was very poor quality.

I have an excellent copy of THE LITTLE KIDNAPPERS (THE KIDNAPPERS in the UK) and can make you a DVD-R or a tape.

I would like to obtain a DVD copy of The Kidnappers (the original)
What do you charge for a copy? How do I go about getting one? What is your address?
