Hi triedent - I can do you a copy on DVD-R but not VHS if that is any good. I am assuming it is the film version and not the TV play version you want?
Send me a private E-mail if you want to proceed. Cheers Nigel |

Does anyone know if the film Up The Junction is going to be released on DVD. Considering this film topped the charts in 1968, has a catchy Manfred Mann music track, and features Maureen Lipman, surely it deserves a DVD release ! Come on Paramount !

There is no official release in the offing at the moment. However, it can be bought from an excellent website called www.thevideobeat.com, which have LOADS of stuff which can't be bought anywhere else. They're not cheap, but they're very efficient and helpful. Although they're in America, you can email them and they get back to you really quickly. Sometimes the quality of the DVDs/videos varies, but I would recommend emailing them and asking them the quality rating. I bought Up the Junction from them recently, having despaired of it ever being officially released, and it's a good copy - probably about B+. With postage, it would probably cost about 20 quid. I can highly recommend them - I've bought loads of DVDs from them.
It seems crazy to me that a website in America is selling some marvellous British films that no one else seems to want to release. Still, thank god someone's doing it! |

I am looking for 3 classic sixties films. I have found 2, Cathy Come Home and Poor Cow but the third eludes me. Up the Junction seems to be a deleted catalogue item. Can anyone help me ??
Thanks........... The Worm
