I'm after an obscure Ollie Reed film ( circa 1966-67) called ' The Party's Over '.

It had censorship problems here and never got a general release.

Any ideas ?

Any info gratefully received !

Directed by guy hamilton,
shot in 63 but as you say, due to censorship issues,it was released in 65,the cuts that were made were so unsatisfactory to hamilton he tried to have his name removed from the credits, also John barry is credited with the score, along with annie ross(the jazz singer) as songwriters.
Had A scout round cant see it available, in any form ?

cheers Ollie.

I'd really like to see this film, partly because it's got a John Barry score including a song sung by Annie Ross, 'Time Wait's For No Man', and also because it stars the great Oliver Reed.

Clearly there has been no official release on DVD or video but has it EVER been shown on UK TV, as the only chance of seeing it appears to be if someone somewhere has taped a transmission.

Surely this film is no longer controversial and therefore could be shown on TV.
