Hi guys - I am a major Petula Clark fan, and I am trying to collect all her films. The following are eluding me:

Medal for the General (1944)
Strawberry Roan (1945)
Murder in Reverse (1945)
Trouble at Townsend (public info film, 1946)
White Corridors (1951)
Madame Louise (1951)
Made in Heaven (1952)
Happiness of 3 Women (1954)
Track the Man Down (1955)
That Woman Opposite (1957)

What ? !!!
You tell us that; "Original poster was me". . . Shock! Horror! - Do you mean that you have TWO identities ?
And! - 'you' may have no further use for Madame Louise, but surely you can't just cast her aside like that? Think of the poor woman's feelings.

Scary image : an Encounter with LordGuinness's Briefs : ugh !

sigh! The youth of today.

Don't sleep in the subway darling, round every corner downtown. Who am I? - I couldn't live without your love, sailor B)

I've yet to see any of these films, but am looking forward to seeing some.
Ady.

LOL!

Yes, I originally registered as 'LordGuinness' but lost my password. So now I'm 'Brief Encounter'.

Madame Louise is a DREADFUL film - but I do need it for my collection. ;)

No, Petula was singing nothing as trendy as 'Downtown' when these films were being made. 'Doodle-Oodle-Day' was the choice cut from The Huggetts Abroad...

I've tracked down That Woman Opposite now (cue more bad jokes!). I'll gladly trade any films starring Petula Clark which aren't on the list, if you can provide me any that are on the list.

I expect That Woman Opposite will run a mile when she sees what's become of Madame Louise - ( no, sorry. I'll stop it now ! )
' Can't help you with any of these - but good hunting. - thinks; isn't there a Petula fan club? - perhaps someone there would have some ?

Brief Encounter has been in the sales in the shops for £2.99 for a long time now. The DVD features the Profile documentary on the film. The folk here were not discussing the film, it is just someone's monicker.

I have Madame Louise on DVD (from USA master) as my hero Richard Hearne stars in it with dear Gary Marsh. Rapture!

Is the quality good? I have a DVD copy but the quality is very grainy/blurry...

Mr Pastry is actually good in the film! (That's all I've seen him in.)
