Hi. I'm desperately seeking a copy of Idol of Paris, the Maurice Ostrer/Premier Productions flop from 1948 (or thereabouts). Any format, any condition. Many, many thanks in advance!

Has anyone seen or have a copy of Idol Of Paris made in 1948??? I have seen a few photos of this film in British Cinema books in the States. Any help would be appreciated.

Would also be interested in this: I gather it's a sanitised version of the life of Esther Lachmann (La Païva), one of the grandest of the 19C grandes horizontales, a poor Jewish girl from Moscow who eventually married into the European aristocracy.
