Dear all,
I've another query for you all. I remember a spy thriller - early '70s at a guess - which featured Michael Caine (at least, I'm pretty sure it was him, but can't find a likely candidate film in his numerous filmographies). I remember Caine taking on the baddie in a wargame re-enactment of Waterloo, and winning, to the fury of said baddie. I'm afraid I can remember little more than that, but I'm confident one of you will know which film I'm speaking of.

I think the film you are looking for is 'Callan' starring Edward Woodward.
