Still looking for a 'Plank' type movie that was to do with a building site. I remember every time you saw Bill Frazer (of Bootsie and Snudge) he was coming out of a toilet.
It's not the Sykes movie 'It's your move'

Yes, this film was called 'A Home of Your Own' and was a noise and grunt type comedy with Richard Bryers & Prunella Scales as a young married couple about to move into a brand new house where the estate is still under construction. This truly is a great comedy and other stars are Ronnie Barker and as you mentioned Bill Frazer. It was shot in B&W and ran for just under an hour and made around 1970. I have tried to locate it on the web but so far unsuccessful. If you like this 'plank' type comedy watch out for 'Futtocks End'(col) starring Ronnie Barker as the Lord of the manor (Futtocks End) who invites various characters to a dinner party. Brilliant performances by him and Michael Horden who plays an over-ripe butler.

Hope this info is helpful

In his autobography, Peter Cushing mentions working for Bill Fraser (sic) in Worthing early on in his career. I've often wondered if this was the same "beady-eyed" actor who played Snudge. Does anybody know?

Yes, that's the one. And yes, his name should be spelt with an 's', not a 'z'.
His IMDb entry says "Gave Peter Cushing his first professional stage job".

As has often been stated, the IMDb isn't infallible, but it's better than many other sources of information about movie related matters.

Thanks for that The reason I wondered about it was because Fraser would have been fairly young at the time to be running his own theatre company.
