Sean Connery movie called 'The Terrorists' or 'Ransom' (same movie). Also 'Night of the Demon'

If you have access to a dual system/region DVD player, THE TERRORISTS is available in the U.S. as Region 1 NTSC. Like you, I waited with anticipation for it for years, then watched it recently. Alas, a mediocre and often badly acted and directed movie that only comes alive when Connery is onscreen. He is good. But otherwise, even Ian McShane blusters badly. The plot twist at the end, and Connery's use of it, makes no sense (to me, at least). Not a good entry on either Paul Wheeler or Casper Wrede's resumes.

Go for NIGHT OF THE DEMON, though -- first rate.

I have Night of the Demon, if you don't mind it in NTSC.

If you have a region free DVD player, then I can recommend this particular disc. I have it myself and it has both the British and American versions. It's only available from the US, but Find-DVD.co.uk lists the prices.

Ransom is widely available as a Region 2 Cinema Club release. I paid less than a fiver for it from an Amazon marketplace seller and I'm glad I didn't pay much more, interesting only as a little seen Connery vehicle. Play have it at £7.99.

Cheers

Default Thanks Chaps

I got Ransom from PLAY and my mates turned up a copy of Night of the Daemon. I also managed to get Julia and Hammet on the Americas web site suggested below.
