Does anyone know if this is available (preferably on DVD)? I think it is one of the greatest films ever made, I never tire of seeing it.

No DVD yet - I'm also waiting - you just need to check Amazon.com (region 1) and Bensons-world.co.uk (reg 2) in the forthcoming releases sections on a regular basis. Then you see what's on the horizon. Good hunting.

A word of warning about LearMedia - my experiences with them have not been the happiest. They have some rare titles but their prices are pretty steep and their efficiency leaves a lot to be desired. My last order took nearly four months to fill - and a lot of nagging - and I only received one of the two tapes I paid almost 60 dollars for.


By preference, Bob's Movie Exchange - also listed on the BritMovie site - are fast, efficient and not (quite) as expensive. They don't have as many arthouse titles though.
Why is there only one monopoly commission?
