Default The Ghost of Rashmon Hall

Anybody out there got this short spooky one ? I only ever recall it having been shown once, in the very early days of Channel 4 (UK). All I have left is some credits, which I found on a tape end. Would love to eek! it again....

Hi Julian,
"The ghost of rashmon hall" is listed on the IMDb by it's other title "The night comes too soon",directed by Denis Kavanagh. The film(I believe)was shot for Federated/British animated in London's Mill Hill area,so I would presume it'a not an Ealing film.It was shown on channel 4 many moons ago and that's the last I've heard of it ,so it might be very difficult to get a copy, hope this helps though. :)

the last time I looked Ghost of Rashmon Hall and Spellbound were both available to buy from www.madphat.com . They'll do NTSC and Pal formats. Dont take it to Heart was released some years ago by VCI as part of it's British Classic Collection so I expect some copies might still be about - try eBay.

Default The Ghost of Rashmon Hall

Has anyone got an excellent off-air copy of this short? I'm looking to upgrade my copy as it's a few generations down and has the ad-breaks crudely edited and ideally I'd be looking for a dvd copy straight from an off-air with the continuity intact. If anyone could help I'd be grateful - lots to trade. Thanks!

Do have a copy of Rashmon Hall taken from its C4 screening, can’t remember what the quality is like offhand, but if anyone is interested in a copy PM me and I’ll dig it out and have a look.
