Am also chasing a copy of 'The Yellow Balloon',so that makes two of us Jo.Have come across advertising material,but never any sources to suggest it is on video.Ever hopeful though...

Hi Jo,
I have also searched unsucessfully for J. Lee Thompson's THE YELLOW BALLOON. I am told the film is "Lost" and no prints exist. If I'm wrong maybe some other member might enlighten us!

Regarding The YELLOW BALLOON the rights for this film are now owned by STUDIO CANAL PLUS in France who seem to own 70% of british films of the 50s 60s &70s .
Prints do exist and it was last shown on channel 4 in 1998.

Hi Aphra,

Have been searching for this film for ages. Info from Pathe was that it was never released on 16mm or video. Would you be prepared to make DVD copy of same.
