Default I didn't Know You Cared

I know this was a programme on the television some years ago with Robin Bailey as Uncle Mort.
Does anyone know if they were produced on video or a film was made

I DIDN'T KNOW YOU CARED ran for four series and 27 episodes. It was the inspired creation of Peter Tinniswood and deserves a repeat showing on UK Gold. However, it has not been seen since the mid-80s.

You can read all about it at

http://www.bbc.co.uk/comedy/guide/articles...r_7773780.shtml

I have a very few, but highly treasured episodes and would love to acquire more. The Tinniswood books can still be found, but the show never came out on commercial tape, nor was it made into a film.

You would think the BBC would put them on video like they did Last of the Summer Wine and The Good Life or repeat them on the TV. I am sure they would be very popular

Hi - sorry to bring up such an old thread - but hope you're aware that the complete IDKYC is now available on DVD - and superb it is too - a bit like The Royle Family but with far superior acting/writing IMO.

My one criticism is that it's not nearly as dark as the books - the same applies to the Reggie Perrin TV adaptation - very much sanitized for the screen.

No matter - both IDKYC and RP were still up with the very best of TV comedy.
