Default Anyone like director Mackendrick?
This weekend I watched The Maggie, recorded for me by someone from this excellent site, and it was wonderful, immediately up there with a few Powell/Pressburger's as my favourite of all British films. I like too Whisky Galore, also by Mackendrick. Could anyone record for me High Wind in Jamaica, Sammy Going South and Mandy?

In a way its a pity that he made arguably his very best film, Sweet Smeel of Success, in America.

Thanks for writin, member 1032, i'd given up! I don't have double video to make copies but I have already taped for myself very carefully and well in SP, films like Night of The Demon, Death Line and others non-horror and from the 1940's. Maybe we could send private messages so we can just go straight to our own profiles..

Hello Mr. Stinker! I'm very much looking forward to hearing from you if we can trade some films. I see you had answered under my subject heading of British films I have to trade also so hopefully we can connect the two up. Apart from Powell/Pressburger, Mackendrick is the Brit director i'm most interested in..

My copies are perfect ones, copies made for me by other sellers but of films i've seen and don't need to keep. Or did you want them on propr released VHS/DVD's? Hoping to hear from you,
