I liked this movie when I was a kid. James Coburn starred along with James Mason, James Fox and Susannah York. Was it really so bad that its not worth making available?

Quality can't be a criteria. Not judging by many that have made it to video or DVD

Thanks for reminding me about this film. I used to enjoy it too. A fresh showing on TV is long overdue!

Let us all know what the quality of the copy is like. I saw a nice print at Lincoln Center last summer as part of a Donald Cammell retrospective/tribute. Has anyone ever seen a soundtrack ? I was told by a serious collector/dealer it was never released. There is the Lou Rawls "I',m satissfied" single though.

Well, I said I'd come back & report on the quality of the 'Duffy' DVD.

It's pretty good...I'd give it 8 to 9 out of 10. At the beginning it jumped around a bit and the opening titles were a bit out of focus, but then it settled down and I'm very glad I had a chance to see it.

He's a good ebay seller. Post is very reasonable and it was sent very swiftly and he offers some very rare and hard to find 60s titles.
