Default Anorexia

Hi, not a very cheery title I'm afraid! I teach Drama & my students are doing the play "Hard to Swallow" by Mark Wheeller, about a girl who has anorexia. The book was originally called "Catherine" by Maureen Dunbar (the mother) & I believe a film was brought out with the same title. If anyone knows where I can get hold of a copy of this film I would be v grateful. Thanks a lot Weez x

It was a TV movie called Catherine (1988)
Made for Thames TV and starring James Faulkner with Susan Jameson as Maureen and Susie Lindeman as Catherine
Known in America as An Anorexic's Tale: The Brief Life of Catherine
See the IMDb for some more information although it doesn't give any clues about where you might find a copy.

Is it appropriate to remind you of Jo Brand's joke where she claims she's anorexic? "An anorexic looks into a mirror and thinks she's fat ..."
