I watched this again last night but sadly I've not yet a DVD recorder.

As usual with the Amicus portmanteau films there's the weak segments (Ian Hendry's) and the strong (Peter Cushing's & Nigel Patrick's).

But I've often wondered, where is the graveyard used in the opening credits?

I put this on DVD-R if you are interested. You might like to know that this was the complete version, not the cut one that Channel 4 has shown before.

The Grave yard in the opening credits is High Gate cemetary, Highgate, North London.

FROM BEYOND THE GRAVE is soon to come out (maybe has already) in Region 1 DVD. Hopefully we will get a R2 version early in the New Year.

That release of From Beyond the Grave is not happening. The company, Retromedia, didn't have a license.

Hmmm - thanks for that James. As far as I was aware things had been at a pretty advanced stage. Wonder who forgot to check that basic fact out before they did all that pre-publicity ? LOL

Retro doesn't have a lot of good products out there, but I expected them to know what T's to cross and I's to dot. While I'm complaining about a certain retailer who's got exclusive sales rights to a few monster movies, at least they did a superb job on them - even if customers can't buy them on-line.
