Hello John,

The Television Play was called 'Strictly For The Sparrows' though I do not know the song. If anyone recalls the Toyota Yaris ad which was shown a few years ago, that was Billy Fury singing 'Wondrous Place'.

Regards

Freddy

I have Play it Cool but can only copy to VHS - which I would be delighted to do if you cover the cost of the video and postage.

John,
Regarding your tv production of 'Strictly For The Sparrows'.....

Was this adapted as the 'B' film STRICTLY FOR THE BIRDS, starring Tony Tanner
(his film debut I think...) ?

I saw this film as the supporting film to CHARADE (Cary Grant) in 1963........

The song Billy Fury sang in 'Strictly For The Sparrows' was his first single Maybe Tomorrow which peaked at no. 18.

Armando - I think I have PLAY IT COOL on VHS which I can put out on DVD-R. I remember running it last year and I think it's off Channel 4. PM me if you need it.
