Hi All,

I am trying to collect footage of Reliant Scimitars used in film in the sixties and seventies:

Does anyone know where I can get a copy of a film called:

THE LAST SHOT YOU HEAR from 1968/9 starring Hugh Marlowe, Zena Walker and Wlliam Dysart to name a few.

Which other films have you turned up so far, just out of interest?

We've got a GTE in the garage, much loved by my partner but neither of us has the cash to sort the electrics out. I've recently been watching episodes of the Protectors, which sometimes features a dark brown Volvo P1800SE, which very much puts me in mind of the Scimitar.

I have a 1969 Scimitar GTE

The film footage I have so far are:

Universal Soldier (1971) with George Lazenby (Scimitar GTE SE5)
The Racing Game (1978) based on Dick Francis books (Scimitar GTE SE6)
The Pretenders Video - "Don't get me wrong" (Scimitar SS1)
The Most Fertile Man In Ireland with Kris Marshall (1999) (Scimitar GTE SE6)

I have just orded a film called "Zeta One" from 1969 which apparantly features a Scimitar GTE?

Another one I have just been told about is called "Plod" from 1972 and is based on Roger McGough's P.C. Plod Poems, a series of quick comic sketches performed by "The Scaffold" starring John Gorman, Mike McGear and Roger McGough. I can't find this film anywhere either


I have following pictures, but am also looking for footage if you anyone can help?
