Filmed in Nottingham - Britmovie

There was a flim which was partly made in Stapleford in Nottingham.

The rest was made in other parts of Nottinghamshire.

I cant remember what it was called and wondered if anyone knew what it was called.

I was being made in 2005 and was probably produced in 2006.

Thought it was called something like " Real Britain" or something like that.

THis surely has to be "This is England", Shane Meadows' new film about a young boy who gets involved with the National Front in the early 1980s. Meadows has been making films around these parts for about ten years. Haven't seen the film yet, but it's had some good reviews.

"THIS ENGLAND" made by a local lad to me (Swadlincote) Shane Meadows.
It's released on limited 27th of this month. Excellent Director, and a guy I would work for nothing for.......well Equity minimum anyway, Ha,ha.

He was interviewed about it on The Culture Show on BBC2 the other night. Mark Kermode went up to Nottingham to meet Shane and the producer
