Hello I'm new to this forum.
I'm trying to trace a film that was shot in Malta in 1969. It was called 'The Oxbone Buccanneers' and was filmed by Pan Productions. All the actors were children and I believe one of the actors was Stephen Garlick. It was filmed in a catacombs with the actors made up to look like old people.

I contacted BFI and the nearest match they found was a film called 'The Sea Children' made by the Childrens Film and TV Foundationa and issued in 1973. Although the title is different, the details match. The story is about a group of skindivers on holiday in Malta, who discover a strange world beneath the sea. It was produced by Pan Productions, producer was Gordon Exelby and one of the actors was Stephen Garlick. I believe it could be the same film.

As a young boy I took part in this film along with most of the children in my street, but have never had the opportunity to view it.
