Default Searching for Rare British War Films

Hi!

I just registered as a member and am from the States. I am a collector of war films (I have about 1500) and am looking for the following UK titles:

Escape To Danger (1943; Eric Portman)
Lilli Marlene (1950; Hugh McDermott)
The Lisbon Story (1946; David Farrar)
An Englishman's Home (1939; Edmund Gwenn)
Night Invader (1943; David Farrar)
Over the Top (1918; Arthur Guy Empey)
Schweik's New Adventures (1943; George Carney)
Shadow of Fear (1963; Paul Maxwell)
The Silent Battle (1939; Rex Harrison)
Spies of the Air (1939; Roger Livesey)
Squadron Leader X (1943; Eric Portman)
Tarnished Heroes (1961; Anton Rodgers)
Tell England (1931; Fay Compton)
Uncensored (1942; Phyllis Calvert)
The Valiant (1962; John Mills)

I am also looking for about 55 US / International titles as well.

Please e-mail if you have any of these titles. I would love to trade or otherwise make a deal.

Best regards,

Brian

Shadow of Fear (1963; Paul Maxwell) isn't by any stretch of the imagination a war film, more of a third rate mystery thriller.
It was one of a number of 'supporting feature' films produced by Butcher's Films.
I'm a big Butcher's fan and have quite a few of them in my collection.

Thanks. Agreed on "Shadow of Fear." I should have been a bit clearer on my e-mail. There are some 'spy capers'/espionage flicks that I collect as well. I have never seen Shadow of Fear but based on the descriptions I have read, it 'sounds like' a low budget 'Journey into Fear.'

Regards,

Brian

I don't have any of those but would be happy to go through the long list as it's always possible I'll have something, or can suggest other related films you might like.

Email me if you're interested.

Hi
Did you find Lilli Marlene? If not I have this. Also, dont know if it is of interest, but I have Humprey Jennings documentary The True Story of Lilli Marlene made by the GPO film unit in 1943.
