Hi all, I've recently acquired a very poor VHS to DVD conversion of this great film...

(mental note: always read the full description given by the Ebay seller......and never go on Ebay after 2 bottles of wine!)

...and I was wondering if anyone who owned the proper DVD whether they were willing to sell or trade it? It used to pop up occasionally on Ebay, whilst trying to source this from high street retailers is proving impossible, as it's currently 'deleted'.

    Any help would be great.

    Thanks in advance

Trying to get hold of this for a friend and she has been told it has not been released in the U.K. although it is a British film.

Smudge does mean "Here we go round the Mulberry Bush"! However, I bought my copy from thevideobeat.com for about £20 (including postage - from America) so that's another way of getting it if you want. The quality's fine - I've ordered lots of "rarities" from them and their service is jolly good.

Oh dear - I've not had any problems with them recently, but what happened to you? I've ordered from the three times in the last year, and everything's been excellent.

MMm Read your message concerning "HERE WE GO AROUND THE MULBERRY BUSH" As for Video beat you will find a copy of this film for $25.00 plus postage and you probably are looking at approx $30.00 I would suggest that if Smudge has a copy of this film i would suggest you going there rather than parting with hard earned cash for something you may find is Crap!

If you want to look at the ite m click on this link! http://www.thevideobeat.com/store/product_...products_id=373

I have done a search of the sites where i can get most of my rare films which i prefer to keep to myself but even they do not stock this film as with some of the films which i have needed i have bought them on here!

    Good Luck Diane.

I wouldn't mind seeing this film, not just because it appears to be a snapshot of British life circa 1968 but also because of where it's set. There's a woman in our work's canteen remembers them filming it.

I have this from an old VHS transfer. A few people here have traded it and I have had no complaints yet...

You can get this Mulberry Bush on DVD (great quality) and it contains an extras feature of the locations used in the movie. and its british!

try Zoom Zoom - Fan site for classic movie Here We Go Round the Mulberry Bush - Home Page

    hope that helps!

btw..the movie has NEVER had a video or dvd release worldwide commercially as stated by the distributors and rights owners of the movie! Why? Who Knows, its a classic piece of 60's era movie!!

    Hi all,

Slightly off the topic a bit, but does anyone remember Clive Donner's BBC film from the mid 70's called "Rogue Male". It starred Peter O'Toole as Capt. Robert Thorndyke who attempts to assassinate Hitler. I saw it once in 1979 I think it was and was very impressed with it then. Would love to see it again

    Cheers,

    A

Strikes me as a bit odd to censor it for the UK market.
