name='merryowen']Actually, that raises a of question that I have been meaning to ask for sometime. The answer is probably blindingly obvious to the rest of this board, but bear in mind that you are dealing with someone who still tries to tune the radio to the Home Service..

    Ok

Can we send attachments via the board's internal email? There is probably an icon somwhere but I am blowed if I can find it.

    Many thanks

    Merryowen
Merryowen, there is a box in the left hand lower corner of the screen that says you may not post attatchments - but hey! what do I know? I still can't tune in the Home Service either!!

Hi there - I have just joined the site as my wife and I love watching old British films. At the moment we are looking for a dvd copy of Woman in a dressing gown. Does anyone out there know where we can get a copy.

The women folk wouldn't allow it.

Everytime Mrs Merryowen is being particularly horrid to me, I put Woman In A Dressing Gown on the DVD and dream happily of those far off days when we really had the tottie under our thumbs.

    Then I wake up

Oh, what are you complaining about?!! It's not like she drives a wooden stake thru whats-left-of-your-heart, cuts your head off and fills your mouth with garlic, does she?

She still loves you JUST FINE, then!

    So there!

I tell my hubby that until the head's turned over and he thinks he's going to Italian Recipe heaven, he has NOTHING to worry about.

Oh lordy... I wish those admins would do another SPOILER alert so I'd know not to have a mouthful of water while reading MerryOwen's stuff, or Smudge, Steve, etc. You people are REALLY nuts. I'm so glad I'm the only sane one here.

Now I've got to dry off this screen again...

Just for that, Nick, I'll open the floor for more taunts about stilettos. (But I really need to find that whip anyway...)

Surely, Christine, you must have heard the old saying by now,

"Sticks and stones may break my bones....

....but whips and chains excite me !"

    And as for stilettoes....well.....
