Are you sure of the title? There's no film of that name in IMDB. The nearest that I can think of is "The Man Who Can Work Miracles", directed by Alexander korda from a story by HG Wells and starring Roland Young, Ralph Richardson, Edward Chapman and Ernest Thesiger. I've got the DVD in my pile to watch, but haven't seen the film in 20 years or so. Looking forward to it, though.

Hi Rob thanks but it was not the clairvoyant.

This may jog some ones memory.

The star goes into a shop and buys a daily newspaper which turns out to be the next days edition. He also at some point in the film goes to the race track and wins money.

The film was made in the 30s or early 40s and is probably British.

This is all I can remember.
