Default Daughter of Darkness (1948)
Has anyone come across this? Stars Siobhan McKenna as a young girl who is, unknown to those around her, a serial killer. I saw it on the much-missed Carlton Cinema channel but was unable to record it.

Daughter Of Darkness is available on the DD Home entertainment. Amazon & Play both stock it for about a tenner. Comes with a 24 page booklet.

What a great films this is. Very atmospheric with very good performances from Siobhan Mckenna and victim number one .... I love this lurid poster for the film ....

I bought the DVD when it was first released, it is a good film, well worth watching, very atmospheric and also starring a young Honor Blackman in what I thnk was her first film. I always wanted to see it (waited years in fact), as when I was a child I visited the church and the house where it was filmed, I remember the local people telling my parents all about it. It must have been really exciting for such a small village to have had a film made there.

I've just been reading the Maxwell Reed 'Forgotten Man' article and I see that Daughter of Darkness is mentioned as one of his best films. I've never seen it and if anyone has a copy I would love to get it. I have loads to swap or happy to pay.
