Glad to see your enthusiasm for British dance bands of the 30s. Maybe you've seen the Arthur Askey vehicle 'Bandwagon' which features Jack Hylton and his orchestra? I can't think of others offhand though Evelyn Dall ( a regular singer with Ambrose) also turns up with Askey in 'Miss London' and one or two others.

Do search the British Pathe site for clips. You may find some gems:
