I recently picked up two mid-50s British musicals - both in excellent shape and both in NTSC format (I've found most British players usually handle PAL and NTSC with equal ease provided they are region free, which these are):
LET'S BE HAPPY (1957) - Tony Martin, Vera Ellen and Robert Flemyng - filmed on location in Edinburgh
HAPPY GO LOVELY (1951) - David Niven, Vera Ellen, Cesar Romero .. also filmed in Edinburgh.
I collect British films from the 50s and I'll be delighted to do a little horse-trading with anyone who has films from that era.
