Hi

Does anybody have Some LIke it Cool, Shoot To Kill and Out of the Shadow by Michael Winner at all? I'm making a doc about British B movies and I can;t find them at all. Any help would be very much appreciated.

Tell me about it - I tried dealing with him a few years ago and found him to be extremely objectionable (to put it nicely).

I interviewed Michael a couple of years ago for my Dennis Price book and he was most accomodating and quite generous with his time. Really.

However, as we got to talking it transpired that he in fact did not have a copy of one of his early B movies - Behave Yourself. As I was in the process of searching for it myself - our very own Smudge eventually passed on to me an immaculate DVD copy - I decided to get in contact with Mr Winner to share with him my find. When I telephoned I didn't even have time to state my purpose before he rudely put the phone down on me as he was too busy to talk. This was a shame since I was trying to do him a favour since he had been so helpful previously. I guess with Mr Winner it's a case of getting him in the right mood and at the right time. I'm guessing after lunch.
