I can help you with this film and have sent you a PM
Wonder if anyone would be able to trade for a copy of the above. Having heard of Keiron Moore's sad death, went to view my copy on VHS and found it damaged!
Thanks in advance peeps.

After finding out the name of the film, just wondering if anyone had a copy of "The Blue Peter"
Thanks

Has anyone got The Blue Peter (1955)? And would they be able or prepared to do a copy for someone not on the forum?
It's set in the Outward Bound Sea School at Aberdovey and The Outward Bound Trust would like to get hold of a copy.
If you can do it, PM me and I'll send you the details

As an ex-Outward Bounder, I would also love to have a copy of The Blue Peter if anyone could help.
Thanks

Thanks, I'll have a look. But I spent much of my time on wind-swept mountains either frozen solid or in a state of sodden chapped mouldy self-pity so I would probably put prospective bounders off.

That sounds like how I describe my time doing offshore sailing. We were wet, cold, tired, hungry - but thoroughly enjoying ourselvesname='maturin' timestamp='1283330055' post='469955']

It's the sort of thing that I wouldn't try to do again now, but I'm really glad I did it when I was young, and fit![]()
The Outward Bounders are looking more for stories of the effect it had on you rather than the details of what you did. A willingness to try anything, finding out what your limits are, or that your limits are way beyond what you thought they were. Also what it taught you about teamwork and good leadership.
