The Golden Gong - This one doesn't seem to have much publicity and is apparently only available as a Region 1 NTSC disc. Mine is still on order from Amazon's marketplace sellers so I haven't seen it yet and can't comment. It gets pretty good reviews though - you might find it of some interest.

If it's the one shown on TV a while back then it's really just film-clips giving the Rank story through the years.

Probably into the skip out the back. It's a sad fact that a lot of material has just been junked over the years. But never give up hope. Some things do turn up and in the most unlikely places

I would hope that you aren't referring to me. I offered you a copy of the P&D dvd that I have and at this time I'm still waiting to hear back from you with an address to which it should be sent along with the other short films you wanted. Only last Tuesday I sent you an email detailing which items off your trade list I wanted in return. As I said, as yet, no reply.

I really don't appreciate being called weird when I try to help someone!

funnily enough last night i was looking at a disc that i had compiled from YouTube when i found that i had recorded the hilarious Terry Thomas/Eric Sykes B&H commercial. Now why dont they make commercials in the cionema like that anymore?I might actually watch them instaed of reading a book whilst the 15 minutes passes by.

If that's Mr Benson and Mr Hedges, I think you'll find they've been banned..............

I've a few old vhs tapes with Pearl and dean ads, and other stuff some are definitely Rank screen services, but also ABC Film Review ads and intermission(ice cream, etc) ads. Possibly late 70s . PM me if interested.
