Kai-Ora All (Gidday) <smile>

I'm looking to find a copy of the old orginal "School for scandrals", it was Black & White and had a baby faced guy (sorry cant remember his name) and Terry Thomas

Was a story based on the art of "One up manShip"

and the reason I feel in the wrong place is I'm also after an old recording of Arthur Askey's called "The Proposal" with I believe is audio only

Don't know if there anybody in here young enough to know of these items

Thanks in advance for any help

Cheers
Kiwi-Hawk (Pete)

Parlez vous Anglais? Sprechen sie Englisch? Do you speak English?
I can just about make out what you're saying

Hello Pete, welcome to the forum.

The baby faced one was Ian Carmichael.
The title was School for Scoundrels (1960)
It's commercially available so you should be to get it from most good online retailers. It's been released as a video and DVD, either by itself or in a collection with other films

I don't think that The Proposal has been released commercially. But if it has, someone here will be sure to know

I deleted the duplicate, well actually I deleted the original and left this duplicate

If he leaves on Tuesday, he can make it there by Monday (International Dateline) and also tell us what the stockmarket's going to do the next day!

There are dozens of copies of the DVD for sale - one where the film is coupled with THE GREEN MAN, another good comedy - on UK eBay at the moment. You will be able to play a Region 2 DVD in New Zealand and save the fare.
