Does anyone know where I can get a copy on VHS or DVD of this 45 minute Eastman Colour film shot in 1970 and featuring Darren Burn and Valerie Van Ost? It was given a UK release as a supporting feature on the ABC circuit and was made by Hemdale Films.

I'm still trying to track down this elusive film, so if anyone out there has a copy of it on VHS or DVD, or either knows where I can get one, or can send me frame captures from it of Darren Burn as he looked in the film as a nine-year-old when the film was actually made in 1970, please let me know.
A year after my last post above, I'm still looking for this film. Anyone know where I can find a copy? I can't go down to the BFI in London to view it, as it's too far for me to go.
Yes, Barbara, I do have that record cover and record from November, 1973. I can't understand my inbox being full, as there are only a few messages in it. The Insomniac was released in 1973 as the support to The Triple Echo. Click on the link below to see my Facebook tribute pages to Darren, which are open to the public. To read the captions underneath any of the photos on the album pages, simply click on an image to enlarge it. The photos tell Darren's story in sequence.

I just tried to send a test message to you again, but it wouldn't go through with this explanation:
"darrenburnfan has chosen not to receive private messages or may not be allowed to receive private messages. Therefore you may not send your message to him/her."
Perhaps investigate your settings which may have PM's turned off?
All best,
Barbara
Thanks for bringing my attention to this, Barbara. I have investigated my settings and found that my private messaging facility was inexplicably turned off (it was okay before the site upgrade). So I have now corrected this and hopefully, messages should now be able to get through to me.
All the Best from
dbf.
Coming back to the film: I remember it well, and I too would love to see it again if you find a copy. Interestingly, I have no memory at all of "The Triple Echo'. I was puzzled to see that the IMDB entry for it gives its certification as '18R'. Can anyone explain why, or is it just a slip up?
In my cinema programme records for the Stoke-on-Trent area, The Triple Echo was first run at the ABC Hanley for seven days on Sunday, February 25th, 1973 and was listed as an X film. The Insomniac was the supporting film. So I don't know where this 18R certificate comes from. I don't think there was such a rating in 1973. If I ever come across a DVDR copy of The Insomniac, I'll do a copy for you, Gaumont.
