Mark.

Nothing played so i don't know what this is. But it's a documentry called Operation Mincemeat - as the book also was - and aired approx 2 years ago. It is available on youtube - as found above by Richard - but i'm hoping to get a decent copy. I have kept an eye out for a year or more for it to be repeated on BBC4 or the such, but no good.
It's from the film The Man Who Never Was, starring Clifton Web, based on the story of Operation Mincemeat. The clip featured is the scene where the operation is given its name.
I know what it is - please see my above post where I replied that I do have a copy of the actual documentary (.avi file 484MB, BBC2 on 2 December 2010).

Ah right. I thought you meant you had a copy of the film in the link. I will pm you, thanks.
Not sure if it's a BBC documentary but there's certainly been one shown on the Yesterday channel in the last year and I daresay it will be on again if any one else is looking.
No doubt. I've kept an eye out for the past year - but probably always miss it!!
I watched The Man Who Never Was, last night, and i enjoyed the film very much, there were some very familiar faces in the film.

In case anyone else is looking, this documentary is on the Yesterday channel tomorrow (21/8)
On Wednesday, 18th July 2012 BBC2 slyly sneaked in a showing of the Operation Mincemeat documentary in a change to their schedules - a documentary on last years riots was postponed. I found out just a few minutes before it started - one of the few instances when a voice-over trailer was extremely welcome.
Operation Mincemeat is next broadcast on Yesterday channel ...
Sunday, 23rd September 2012 ... 10.00-11.00pm.
