I used to love 'Wheeltappers' too!.......it has been shown within the past decade on the now defunct 'Granada plus' Satellite channel, it was good to see 60's stars in the 70's such as Kathy Kirby, Susan Maughan, and many others.......it was usually hosted by the late Bernard Manning who had a fine singing voice himself, I think the very last episode was in '77, where they had a beauty contest, hosted by Patrick Mower, Julie (Bet Lynch) Goodyear was one of the Judges......

I too wish 'they' would show the whole lot again!

Mark

I actually remember that exact episode, and even many of the campy comments from the host!

Another of my favourite Wheeltappers episodes featured Russ Conway. You could always count on that show to host some great artists, week after week.

Don't suppose anyone has a copy of one of the shows from 1974 where the singer Matt Monro appeared?

I also have those 5 episodes from 1974, not sure how many episodes there were to a series, perhaps 8 or 6, he is obviously on the one we haven't got. Typical, isn't it? Thanks for replying, anyhow.
