This is a review of the first series DVD dated October 2004:-

'As indicated in my earlier review, this first series release, omits the advertised interviews with Terry Venables and Nicholas Ball. Well, the good news is, both interviews are included on the second series release - information via manufacturers - whenever it is eventually released, that is the bad news, it was pulled from distribution on the very day it should have been issued because, I was informed, that certain 'signing rights' had not been signed off. That aside when it does come out, it should be worth getting as it will include episodes not seen since they were originally transmitted twenty odd years ago. Watch this space. I shall definitly buy this series'.

There have, I believe, been problems with rights issues and the production of the extras. Also, Series 1 didn't sell very well so it's unlikely Series 2 will appear for a while, if at all. This is one of my favourite series so it is very disappointing.

Thanks for the info. ............... seems a real shame if this series fails to get a release date.

Do a search... I've given the reasons why this won't be appearing any time soon in another thread.

I had series 2 of "Hazell", from a bootleg seller who is still selling it on Ebay.

There are a couple of episodes which have suspiciously short running times.

I believe these may be the butchered versions from Granada Plus showings.
