Default Oliver Twist

Merry Christmas!

Does anyone have last week's BBC 1 Oliver Twist? I'd love to see how Timothy Spall handled Fagin.

Cheers
Richard

Don't panic!

It's all being repeated again for the third - or is it fourth - time starting at 3:30 this afternoon.

Good news!
Only trouble is I'm a bit out of range of the BBC transmitters....
Still, I might shimmy up a palm tree with a coat hanger and see if I can pick up BBC1!

Sorry, maturin! I think I've had too much sugar over the last few days and I didn't notice your location - and, of course, a lot of people now pick up BBC all over the world.
I haven't watched this - although, out of all of the casting, I would imagine that Timothy Spall was great as Fagin - especially if he plays it as he does Wormtail in 'Harry Potter'!

I do wish you luck in getting a copy of one sort or another.

Starry x.

Thanks anyway Starry!
Yes, every cable company except mine has the BBC - but I do get endless Van Dam / Deisel action movies, endless mindless soaps and lots of wrestling with mine, so I shouldn't complain. I though Spall was brilliant in Topsy-Turvey and in Pierrepoint and so I have high hopes of his Fagin.
The forum hasn't failed me yet!
Thanks again and Merry Christmas

Well, I just finished recording the omnibus editions of Oliver Twist, but have yet to archive it to dvd.
If you'd like a copy of it when I'm done probably sometime over the weekend, let me know either by reply or pm.
Regards
Bill

I've recorded last weeks individual episodes, although still to transfer to DVD.

Was the omnibus edition any different?

Maturin, let me know if you would like a copy.

Mike

To be honest, I didn't actually see the individual episodes, but thought I would give the omnibuses (omnibi?) a go, so I don't know if they're different.

You might try Googling UKNOVA - it's downloadable from there at the moment, before the DVD comes out...
