Default Timewatch

Hello
I wonder whether anyone has - or knows who may have an old copy of Timewatch - from 1988. It was on Henri Dericourt - and SOE.
Also, does anyone have - or know where I might be able to obtain - a copy of The Fourth Arm?

Hi there - many thanks. I've seen people say different things about that company. Some comments good; others comment scathing. Have they improved?

Default The Fourth Arm

I would contact them first as there haven't been any updates or new stock added for about 6 months.

Hi,
I bought a Shoestring DVD set from on raretelevision.com on 13th March, 08 - and all but a few episodes were excellent - the majority recorded direct from UKTV Drama - and everything went very smoothly, well packaged, printed discs in half-size double DVD cases, and with reasonably quick delivery.

But I agree, it's probably best to check/email first - they did not reply to my first enquiry email, yet the actual order communication was good - they emailed me when the order had been sent out. Quality depends on their original source material - programmes broadcast/repeated several years ago will probably be VHS-DVD copy-transfers and quality can be variable. I think The Fourth Arm, and Colditz (which they also have) were repeated a while back on UK Gold. I did read they had changed owners last year. Hope this helps

Mrs Emma Peel and Clubster - many thanks for your responses. Much appreciated.

Mrs E P: Carve Her Name With Pride is a great film about an amazing, courageous woman. Now with so many of the actual records released, we can see how the true stories of Violette Szabo and her comrades are even more amazing.
