Please please please could anyone help find me a 1950s movie called
THe Shadow of the Eagle ( not to be confused with the John Wayne movie of 1932 of the same name)
It starred Richard Greene ( Robin Hood) and Valentina Cortese.I think it was produced by Valiant films and the Director was Sydney Salkow.
The reason I am searching for this is because there is the possibility that my late father who was quite a well known lyric tenor at the time, might have sung in the film.The musical director was Hans May and I beleive the song in question was the "Gondola song"
Any help would be gratefully appreciated
