Hi Dave

Unfortunately, I'm away for the next couple of days, and although am set to record series 11, I have no chance with the 5 episodes from series 14 via Channel. Any chance of doing a trade at the end of the week?

Mike

Hi Mike,

It seems that "Channel" are not screening Series 14 after all, they are screening Series 11 like the other regions.
It looks like DigiGuide have got their listings wrong.

I understand that the main problem with releasing any of this excellent series hinges on the equitable apportionment of royalties relating to the copyright in the music.
Such a shame
If anyone is interested, the "Aidensfield Arms" makes a great touring base:-

I can remember when Heartbeat first began in 1992 when each episode was 50 Minutes long, but now ITV3 have started repeating them again from Series 1 and are hacking them down to 45 Minute episodes, which is a disgrace!!!
All the ad breaks are in the wrong places and the closing credits have been changed to fit in with recent series.

ITV1 have pulled Series 12 repeats from their schedule and replaced it with repeats of Midsummer Murders at 4pm from Sept 10th.

The village where Heartbeat is filmed lives up to its name -Goathland, as are goats everywhere haha.As to the Royal, the wards are a disused part of St Lukes about 20 mins from me.D

For those of you who like Heartbeat and The Royal, the new Royal spin off "The Royal Today" starts on the 7th January on ITV1 at 4pm weeknights and will run for 50 half hour episodes.
