Really? Many thanks for that, I thought ITV3 only broadcast Series 1-6. Do you know how many series in total ITV3 broadcast?

Couldn't tell you for certain - only reason I know is because I've a marker set for anything Jenny is in so it has come up with her two episodes [Series 4 & 6] a few times in the last few months.

I'm sure I've seen it showing as Series 7 onwards before but not sure. Series 15 is also being shown - which seems a bit silly to me!

I'll keep an eye on digiguide for you if you like.

Thanks so much fell. I would dearly love to see any Nick Berry or Jason Durr series, especially Series 7, as that is my personal favourite. I'm trying to collect as many of the series as I can, either from eBay or traders (we can't tape from our Freeview), as, sadly, I know there will never be an official release.

Are you able to record Series 7? If not, I can try to do it for you.

DigiGuide only has ITV3 up to 1 Feb at the moment. 7.1 is 30 Jan, 7.2 31 Jan, 7.3 1 Feb

Default Heartbeat - Series 17
Hi All

Just wondered if anybody was in the know - was that the last of Heartbeat back in early January.

I note that there appears to be an untransmitted episode "Changing Places".

Just annoys me how they keep splitting the programme series.

Hi Mike,

I think Heartbeat is back after "Wild At Heart" ends, either that or they may start Series 7 of The Royal off for it's 6 week run before stopping to show the remaining Heartbeat Series 17 episodes, then the last 6 episodes of The Royal, thats what they've done for a few years now.
Also there was actually 2 episodes of Heartbeat with the title "Changing Places" which were the very 1st episode and the episode when Nick goes to Canada, ITV3 may show the Canada Special as Nick will be leaving soon.

I suspect the lack of DVD releases is because the core audience is middle aged women who are also the least likely to buy DVDs. Maybe the amount of background music makes rights tricky too.

The Royal returns with Series 7 on the 16th March until 20th April when Heartbeat Series 17 returns to our screens on the 27th April until the 3rd August with the remaining 15 episodes of the current series. Then Series 7 of The Royal is back on the 10th August until the 14th September. Then Series 18 of Heartbeat is due to start at the end of September.
