Default Heartbeat

Does anyone have any episodes of Heartbeat. It's amazing to me that nothing is available.

You've taken the words right out of my mouth - it was only yesterday that I was thinking I must put something on Britmovie about Heartbeat because nothing seems to be available! I have recorded loads of them off the TV onto video, but of course I'm after DVDs. For such an incredibly popular series, I find it quite staggering that they haven't brought out DVDs.

Apart from ebay, any ideas where I can obtain copies of this long running tv series?

Thanks

I have virtually every episode of HEARTBEAT and THE ROYAL on DVD, and most are in 16:9 widescreen (4:3 compatibile). Each DVD contains two episodes with superb picture recorded off digital ITV.

PM me if you're interested.

I remember finding out about seven or eight years ago that Heartbeat only started in '92. I was absolutely positive it had been going for donkeys years before that.

I believe that the first Constable book "Constable on the Hill", which the series is based on, was first published in 1979.

If anybodies interested the author's website can be found at: -

Nicholas Rhea - the man who inspired Heartbeat

Does anyone have a copy of the episode of Heartbeat which was broadcast on 24th June 2007 ? It is the episode where Gina and Phil get married. I taped it but my video recorder went wrong, would be grateful if anyone could help, thanks.

For those of you who have Sky Digital you may want to try and manually add the other various ITV regional channels as some are Repeating Series 11 at 4pm and others are Repeating Series 14 at 4pm also, so if you have 2 DVD recorders in seperate rooms you can record one from the normal ITV Region you are in, and the other from Sky Digital.

I have Freeview built into my DVD Recorder in my Bedroom and Sky Downstairs with the other DVD Recorder, So if this is the case of 2 Different Seasons being broadcast I'll try and record both.

I believe its "Channel" (The last set of settigns (Below), that is showing Series 14)

All the ITV1 regions are available to Sky Digital viewers, wherever they live.

Using the remote control, press "Services", then choose "System Setup" and "Add Channels".

Then, input these details for the channel you want...

Anglia (South), Anglia (West), Tyne Tees (North), Tyne Tees (South)
Frequency: 10714
Polarisation: H
Symbol Rate: 22.0
FEC: 5/6

Anglia (North), Central (West), Granada, London
Frequency: 10758
Polarisation: V
Symbol Rate: 22.0
FEC: 5/6

Border (North), Central (East), Central (Thames Valley), ITV1 Wales, ITV1 West, West Country (South)
Frequency: 10832
Polarisation: H
Symbol Rate: 22.0
FEC: 5/6

Border Scotland (South), Meridian (South), Meridian (South East), Meridian (Sussex), Meridian (Thames Valley), Yorkshire (East), Yorkshire (North)
Frequency: 10891
Polarisation: H
Symbol Rate: 22.0
FEC: 5/6

Channel, stv (East), stv (West), stv (North), UTV
Frequency: 10906
Polarisation: V
Symbol Rate: 22.0
FEC: 5/6

EDIT - It looks like "Channel" are only showing the first 5 Episodes of Series 14 then carrying on with Series 11 from Episode 6.
