They are mostly all available to buy - I know because I have visited a site where they were for sale. Trouble is I can't remember how I got there (you know what it's like on the web, one thing leads to another...)

you can get the Giuseppina BBC trade test movie on DVD very cheap at www.simplymagic.freeserve.co.uk

hope that helps.

btw, Giuseppina was the very last trade film shown on 24th August 1973 at 2.30pm, and was first shown on 7th October 1968.

I remember this film very well, rushing home from school and watching this before the childrens TV started.
For those who can't remember, it was directed by James Hill, Made in 1960, is 28mins long, and was about a garage owner in a quiet Italian village. The film follows a typical day and the varied customers who stop for petrol. He has a daughter Giuseppina who gets bored.. I always remembered the part when a horse and cart passes with a squeaky wheel, so the garage owner runs after it and oils the wheels!!!!!!
This film was one of the few that won an Oscar award.

hi!

i've been looking for a copy of Prospects For Plastics for a number of years now, as it was one of the very first TV broadcasts i saw, in the late 60s, so it's great to hear that someone has a copy!

i'm very keen to aquire a copy of this, either on video or DVD & i'm willing to pay for any costs involved, including postage.

i appreciate that this is copyright material & should stress that this would be for home use only.

many thanks

I would also be very interested in purchasing copies of these disks in order to add to my collection. Perhaps you could give me costings and availability - I have some titles not on your lists, so maybe a trade could be made. Would love to know how you managed to track down Study in Steel - I've been searching for that one for about five years...anyway, please send an e-mail and see what we can do.
