Sounds as though it was a version of Jean Paul Sartre's play Vicious Circle.
Have a look at Vicious Circle (1985) (TV) For some more details. Nick |

Would anyone perhaps have David Hare's drama Dreams of Leaving in their collection? Originally broadcast in 1980 in the BBC's Play for Today slot, it features Kate Nelligan as a belle dame sans merci. Miss Nelligan was never more fragrant than in this production. I would be most interested to obtain a copy on DVD.

The IMDb (Internet Movie Database) is most useful for this sort of query. It covers many TV programmes as well as films. John Duttine was in 3 episodes of Play For Today: Spend Spend Spend (1977) about pools winner Viv Nicholson, Duttine played her husband Psy-Warriors (1981) I think this is the one you want. Play by David Leland. Three suspected terrorists are arrested after a bomb explosion. Various techniques of psychological torture are used upon them, resulting in revelations about the interrogators as well as the interrogated. Also starring Warren Clarke & Colin Blakely. The Groundling and the Kite (1984) Play by Bernard Preston about two friends in the music business. With a young Caroline Quentin. Steve |
