A very long shot but worth a try, if anyone has this preferably on DVD, hopefully a trade of some kind could be arranged.

"Play for Today" The General's Day (1972)

Thanks

Hi all,
while you're all in Play for Today mode, I'm still looking for a GOOD copy of "Z for Zachariah" (BBC Play for Toady, 1984) - whilst I've enjoyed again the washed-out video copy-to-DVD that everyone seems to have (and thanks to traders!), it would be great to have a really decent version. Similar post-apocalypse SF available for trades.
Stay cool,

Pip

"Home" starring Sir Ralph Richardson and Sir John Gielgud can be picked up from the likes of Amazon for @£10.

I'd love to see "Traitor" (John Le Mesurier) and "The General's Day" (Alastair Sim).

I have the following:

Home
Stocker's Copper
Z for Zachariah
Rumpole of the Bailey
Spend, Spend, Spend

Default Play For Today - Comedians

Hello All, I'm a new member and am overjoyed to find so many Play For Today fans going strong.

I am aiming to build my collection but no-one has mentioned Trevor Griffiths' "Comedians". Broadcast in late 1979 and starring Jonathan Pryce. I can't find it anywhere.

Can anybody help please?

Shame the BBC don't realise how much better the stuff they have locked away is than the stuff they are making now...
