Question The Man Who Would Be Kubrick

Bit of a long-shot this, but does anyone have a copy of the documentary on Alan Conway - the man who pretended for a decade to be Stanley Kubrick?

I'm looking for it fairly urgently for a piece of work I'm finishing on Kubrick. Will happily re-emburse costs for any saintly person who can help!

thanks
robert

If it helps ...
John Malkovich played Alan Conway in a film version of the story called Colour Me Kubrick (2005)

For the documentary, it was made by October Film Production for Channel Four Television. Have you tried them? Directed by Nigel Algar, broadcast on 4/9/1999 (but is that April 9th or September 4th? I got the info from an Italian web site so I suspect it's April 9th)

Thanks for that Steve. I must have been searching wrong online, as I couldn't get details about the transmission. Will try and hunt them out. In the meantime if anyone else has a copy to hand, I'm still keen!

Oh, and I knew about Colour Me Kubrick, which was made two or more years ago and still has had very limited release. The UK hasn't picked it up, it was out in France at the start of the year, and is coming out on dvd in France on July 19th. Probably just pick that one up then (under title Appelez-moi Kubrick).

Thanks again.
