Hi Barry,

I think it's out on DVD. I saw it in a DVD catalogue which came with "The Mail" over the weekend. But I haven't found it on the Net yet.
Wasn't it a "poor man's I Claudius"? I don't think it got very good ratings when it was screened.

It was rather cheesy but I found it highly enjoyable - guess it was somewhat different to what else was on the box at the time.

Did a quick search myself - any idea of the company releasing it from that mag?

Chiz,
Barry

Sorry Barrington.

I'll have a look through our recycle sack this evening. Hopefully it hasn't been chucked out and I'll let you know tomorrow.

Barry

If The Cleopatras had been any cheesier, the series could have been popped under the grill and turned it into a Welsh Rarebit. But as you say, it was fun.

Any luck in your search for the DVD?

I was wondering that myself; I remember it being really cheesy, but it would be interesting to see again after all these years. I haven't found any sign of a potential DVD release.

Default Cleopatra'

No this isnt out on dvd as yet their seemed to be a bit of confusion going on with the sixties Granada series "The Caesars" creeping into the discussion which is as has been mentioned been released on dvd.

I would love to see "The Cleopatras" should anybody have the complete series and have thousands of rare tv shows to swap with anybody who can help.
