Can anybody help with a copy of that tv play from 1990 (BBC)? Starring Jonathan Pryce and Anna Massey.

I am also interested in films and plays after true crimes (like 10 Rillington Place, A is for acid, etc). the two mentione films in brackets I still have.

Thanks

I attempted some time to locate a PAL version/or UK DVD of this film some time ago, and believe you me I am sure one is not available. Even kept a watchful eye on eBay. Can I suggest you get a copy and get it reformated' (if that's the correct word!!)?

You can make an NTSC DVD from an NTSC video tape. Most DVD recorders will record NTSC, most modern VCR's will play an NTSC video tape and most modern TV sets will display an NTSC picture.

Many DVD players can display an NTSC DVD as PAL60. Home burned DVDs are, ofcourse, region-free.

To be honest, if you have a modern TV that will display an NTSC picture (as most do) it really isn't worth the bother of converting from NTSC->PAL; your PQ certainly won't improve!
Those additional 100 lines have to come from somewhere!

I have this Screen Two play on DVD-R if you're still looking for it. My copy is from the original transmission on BBC2 in 1990 and the quality is good, say 7/10.

regards,

Remy

Yes I've got this and transfered it to DVD. I can do you a copy if you like. Have you anything interesting to trade?
