Default Double Deckers

I seem to remember someone asking about the Double Deckers TV show at some point.
If anyone wants it I have it on three dvds, not really my thing so I'll swap it for just about anything....
There's no cover or anything flashy but if interested just let me know.

God, the Double Deckers! Now there's a blast from the past. Peter Firth way before Spooks. I seem to remember that the little girl who played Tiger turned up in Reg Varney comedy 'Go for a Take', in which he and a mate hide out in a film studio and become extras/stuntmen to avoid some heavies to whom they owe money, and meet this kid who is filming 'The Double Deckers' on another lot. Can't remember if any other members of the gang appear though, from memory I think not.

They should do a documentary on "where are they now"? Apparently they are all happy to talk about the old days (according to the fan club/website i looked at)'. And with Melvyn Hayes who's been around for ages (one of his first tv appearances was in 1956 in "Backing up Bunter" one of the few Billy Bunter episodes still around) and who used to write some of the Double Decker episodes, it might make a good look back at those days, along with some judicious raiding of the archives.

A reminder of happier days, when all you had to worry about was getting in the football team or not doing homework, and definitely worrying about not the ongoing War in Vietnam. Strange how things were juxtaposed in those days, with Vietnam war atrocities on telly news straight after kids tv everyday!

Quis custodiet ipsos custodes
